No. PETCHECK™ is an observation-only wellness scan. Our groomers visually and manually note anything unusual — but we don’t diagnose or treat medical conditions. For anything concerning, we’ll suggest you see your vet.
Who performs PETCHECK™?
Your named groomer — Helen (Lead Groomer, 10+ years) or Richard (Nash Academy graduate). The same person who bathes and grooms your pet performs the scan. No hand-offs. No rotating staff.
How long does PETCHECK™ take?
PETCHECK™ happens in parallel with your pet’s grooming appointment — it doesn’t add time. We check ears, eyes, gums, skin, coat, paws, nails, and mobility during the natural contact points of the groom.
Does PETCHECK™ cost anything?
No. PETCHECK™ is complimentary with every grooming appointment — no tier restrictions, no upcharges, no add-on fees. It’s our commitment to mobile grooming as a health relationship, not just a haircut.
What happens if you find something serious?
We’ll tell you the same day, usually at pickup. We’ll describe what we saw, where, and whether we think it’s urgent. For anything medical, we’ll always recommend seeing your vet. PETCHECK™ helps you catch concerns early — your vet handles the rest.
Is PETCHECK™ for cats too?
Yes. We scan cats the same way — ears, eyes, coat, skin, nails, mobility. Cats especially benefit, since many pet parents don’t handle their cats enough to notice early skin or weight changes.
