Tire Them Out (a Little)
A walk or play session an hour or two before the appointment helps burn off nervous energy. A tired dog is a calmer dog.

Feed Early or Wait
Feed at least two hours before the appointment, or wait until after. Some dogs get anxious on a full stomach during handling.

Dogs mirror your energy. Same breakfast, same walk, same tone of voice. The calmer you are, the calmer they’ll be.

How much does mobile grooming cost?
We estimate pricing based on your pet's breed, size, and services requested, using our experience with similar breeds and coat types. New clients save $30 on their first appointment. For more details, visit our Rates & Packages page.
Do I need to be home?
Yes, for your first appointment. We'll meet you and your pet, discuss coat needs, and answer any questions. After that, many clients provide gate codes or access instructions so they don't need to be home. We'll text you when we arrive and when your pet is ready.
How long does a grooming appointment take?
Most grooms take 1.5-3 hours depending on your pet's size, coat type, and services needed. Because we're one-on-one, your pet gets our complete attention the entire time—no cages, no waiting. We'll text you updates and when we're finishing up.
Do you groom anxious or senior pets?
Yes! We specialize in senior and special-needs pets. Helen has extensive experience with aging pets, including those with collapsed trachea, mobility issues, and medical conditions. One-on-one mobile grooming is calmer than a busy salon, and we work slowly with comfort breaks as needed.
What if my pet has never been groomed before?
We take extra time to make your pet comfortable, work at their pace, and use positive reinforcement. Our mobile setup is less intimidating than a busy salon, and one-on-one attention helps anxious pets relax. We'll start slow and build trust. First visits may take slightly longer as we get to know your pet.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens! We require 24-hour advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Just text or call us and we'll find a new time that works for you. Same-day cancellations are charged a $75 fee to cover our schedule. See our full Cancellation Policy for details.
